Three-1-Zero Presents... '99 Lakers LP

'99 was a big year for us L.A. natives. Collectively, we watched our Lakers bulk up into the dynasty they'd become for the following three seasons, dominating the league with no remorse (Pacers, Queens, 5.9ers, Suns, Spurs, Nets, WHAT?). It was also the last year that the Lake Show would spend their games in the Great Western Forum (now known simply as "The Forum"). It was a miserable season, but like the death and ultimate rebirth of a phoenix, the '98-'99 season represented the dawn of a new era for the Purple and Gold. Channeling this energy, Inglewood, Cali emcee Three-1-Zero has put out a release dedicated entirely to the Lakers' '98-'99 season. I was skeptical at first, but the sh*t is bangin' (plus how could I turn down a fellow Laker fan?). Some of my favorites on this joint include "Kurt Rambis", "Eddie Jones", "Travis Knight", "Elden Campbell" and... aw man, I could go on and on. Just check it out!
