Hip-Hop Insomniacs Club with Ice Cube

"Fuck the police comin' straight from the underground/
A young n***a got it bad cause I'm brown/
...They have the authority to kill a minority/
...I've got somethin' to say/
"

Over a year ago, 14 year old Martin Lee Anderson, attending a Florida boot camp, was beaten by the camp's guards and soon pronounced dead on the spot. One year later, and guess what? These seven former boot camp guards who beat up young Martin have been acquitted in an all-white jury. That's the right, found not guilty! To quote the father soon after the verdict was read:
You kill a dog and go to jail, you kill a little black boy and nothing happens.
...ain't that the truth?
That's livin' in Amerikkka for ya...

On an unrelated note, Mychal Bell of the Jena 6 was sentenced to 18 months in prison due to a "matter [that] was unrelated to the December 2006 event at Jena High School."

Hold ya head...

Y'know, Mahatma Gandhi once said:
You must not lose faith in humanity. Humanity is an ocean; if a few drops of the ocean are dirty, the ocean does not become dirty.
...unfortunately, in my opinion, it seems like we've got more than just "a few [dirty] drops."

But we must 'keep the faith' nonetheless...
